The Society for the Development of James Bay (SDBJ), who administers the James Bay highway, is warning highway users that the transportation of over-size steel armouring parts could slow down traffic in places until March 7 between kilometre 0 and 274. The transportation of the first shipment was sucessfully completed on January 19.

To obtain more detailed information on when traffic will be affected by the transport of the steel armouring, call 1-888-676-INFO (4636). This is a toll-free number for the users of the James Bay highway, made available by the Energy Society of James Bay (SEBJ). SEBJ uses the Eastmain-1 site, where the steel armouring is being transported.
