Pikogan resident Terry Polson, 31, died in a car accident near Km 60 between Chisasibi and LG 1 at about 11:30 pm on July 29, according to Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Anne Mathieu.
“We know that the man, Mr. Polson, was alone in his car, when he lost his life. The investigation is being carried out by the Chisasibi Police Force, we just assisted them and they are still currently investigating the circumstances of the accident. Alcohol could have been a factor in the accident but that is not confirmed,” said Mathieu.
There were no other cars involved in the accident. According to the police, Polson’s car simply went off the road. This incident is still currently under investigation.
