Once there was a thriving community, and one day two brothers were out fishing. While they were out fishing they found two shining balls floating on the water. They took these balls home with them. When they got home they realized these balls were eggs because they hatched. The two beings that appeared from them were hungry, so the brothers fed them. Soon they spent all their time feeding them. The appetite of these beings was so great that the community had no time to do anything but feed them. Even the effort of the entire community could not satisfy their appetite.
These beings began to eat the children, the elderly and the feeble, who were all neglected now by the community. Eventually the entire community was lost. The Elders say these two beings were alcohol and money.
